Piramidón opens Punto y Coma, by artist Teresa Camacho

This Saturday, September 19, Piramidón is launching the new season of its traditional Vermouth Saturday with a double exhibition proposal: Punto y coma, a solo exhibition by the artist Teresa Camacho, and “2026_N3”, a group exhibition featuring works by the center’s resident artists.

In Punto y coma, Teresa Camacho starts from an idea as simple as it is suggestive: the wedge as an element that interposes itself, stops, displaces, and modifies a force. She translates this logic into language and, specifically, into the semicolon; that sign which introduces a pause without breaking the continuity of a sentence. Slanted color blocks, geometric shapes, interspaces, and compositional tensions build an abstract language where each element seems to alter the movement of the next. The artist thus explores the balance between repetition and spontaneity; between defined structures and intuitive gestures to create vibrant compositions that invite a sensory and contemplative experience.

The artist has spent the summer working on this exhibition from Piramidón, after previously completing other residencies at the José Guerrero Foundation and Las Cigarreras, as well as participating in various awards and exhibition projects. She currently develops her artistic practice in Alicante and is represented by the Amado gallery in Antwerp.

The opening will take place from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and will feature a guided tour of “Semicolon” led by the artist herself at 1:00 PM. It is an opportunity to get closer to her work and discover, in a relaxed setting with a vermouth in hand, the rhythmic and harmonious lyricism of the artist.
