Razzmatazz Clubs opens Human, its new electronic music club

On March 12th Razzmatazz Clubs will open Human, a new electronic music club for Friday and Saturday nights in Rooms II and III.

After 22 years revolutionizing clubbing and live music culture in Barcelona, the legendary Razzmatazz Clubs has come up with a new project that will undoubtedly shake up the electronic music scene in the Catalan capital.

From Saturday 12 of March, Razzmatazz Clubs will offer two different experiences in two different venues: La1, the cross-cutting pop club (Room 1), and Human, the new electronic music club (Room 2, the home of what has been The Loft). Each will have its own different musical offerings and its own entrance.

Tickets for Fuego and La1 will give access to rooms 1, 4 (Pop Bar) and 5 (Àtic), with entrance from Calle Almogàvares 122

Tickets for Human will give access to venues 2 and 3 (Lolita), with entrance on Carrer Pamplona 88

Tickets will also be on sale for clubbers who don’t want to miss anything, to gain access to all the Razzmatazz Clubs venues.

Human was born out of the need to recover a more human and closer club experience, in a space prepared to enjoy electronic culture with all the senses and in complete freedom. Music and Digital Arts will fill every corner of Human; a place where respect guarantees a committed audience, and where new consumption habits coexist with the old ones.

Human wants to return to the roots of the shared experience in the natural habitat of dance music: the club. The pandemic has reminded us how important – and necessary – it is to be able to enjoy live music, to the detriment of the omnipresent “streaming”.  Human is about living an experience together, returning to the human and its social nature. Back to the roots of the club as a meeting place for an audience of different generations but with shared concerns. A space where music can be enjoyed in the best conditions, encouraging attention and creating an environment where new consumption habits meet old ones.

Reflection and dissemination of club culture and electronic music, with a carefully planned programme and the participation of local talent.

Culture will be an essential part of Human, in a multidisciplinary way, beyond the purely musical proposal. The digital art agency Landscapes will be in charge of commissioning installations by artists from all over the world as well as a digital art gallery spread throughout the club. We will also have a regular programme of visual artists.
