SAE Barcelona opens its campus doors to future music professionals

Next Thursday, 17 September, creative media education centre  SAE Barcelona will host an Open Day for anyone interested in pursuing their education and building their professional future in the music and audio industry. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to visit the campus facilities, explore its professional studios and discover the centre’s academic offering first-hand.

Taking the step into the music industry is a decision that goes beyond choosing a study programme. Getting to know the environment in which the training takes place, experiencing professional tools and having direct contact with the academic team are all key factors when making a decision about your professional future.

Although it is now possible to explore study programmes, learn about some of the equipment and follow an educational centre’s activities online and through social media, experiencing a real production environment first-hand provides a much more complete understanding of the educational experience.

With this in mind, SAE Barcelona is organising an Open Day, an open-house event where prospective students can explore its spaces and facilities, discover the different programmes on offer and have their questions answered directly by the academic team. The programme will include a welcome to the centre, academic talks and various activities, as well as a tour of the professional studios and a meet & greet with the educational staff.

An academic offering focused on the music industry

SAE Barcelona offers specialised training in music, audio and creative media, with options tailored to different profiles and professional goals.

Its programmes include the Bachelor’s Degree in Music, as well as four master’s degrees: Master’s in Audio Production, Master’s in Music Industry 360, Master’s in Electronic Music Production and Master’s in Urban Music Production. These four master’s degrees are accredited by Udima.

The centre also offers a selection of short courses for those looking to specialise in specific areas of the creative industries. These include Film Scoring, Artist Identity, Songwriting and AI for Creative Industries.

Discover SAE Barcelona from the inside

The Open Day offers an opportunity to discover not only the academic offering, but also the environment in which the training takes place. Visiting the professional studios and exploring the facilities allows prospective students to gain a clearer understanding of the teaching methodology and what it is like to study at SAE Barcelona.

The event is a free activity with limited places, so prior registration is required.
