The Museu Terra of the Fundació Carulla invites you to a family workshop where you can explore the impact of plastic on our planet and learn how to transform bottle caps into practical recycled carabiners.
It will take place on Wednesday, April 16th, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Sala Barcelona of Museu Terra (Poblenou).
The activity will begin with a guided visit to the exhibition Plastic: Brilliant or Evil?, where you’ll learn about the origins and evolution of plastic and reflect on how we use it—and how we could use it more responsibly.
Afterward, with the help of Precious Plastic machines, you’ll experience the entire recycling process, from sorting the caps to creating your own personalized carabiners. Each carabiner will be a reminder of your commitment to the environment and an example of how we can give plastic waste a second life.
This activity is aimed at families and recommended for children aged 9 and up.
Advance registration is required. Limited spots available.
