Last days to apply for IAAC’s Scholarship programme for the 2022-23 Academic Year

The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC) is offering scholarships to bright individuals whose projects address the challenges of a changing world in 2022.

The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC) is a center for research, education, production and outreach, with the mission of envisioning the future habitat of our society and building it in the present.

IAAC follows the digital revolution at all scales to expand the boundaries of architecture and design and meet the challenges faced by humanity. This experimental and experiential center offers a multitude of programmes, from Masters to Postgraduates, whether on campus or online.

To carry out this mission, IAAC is organized in four departments: the Advanced Architecture Group, the Fab Lab Barcelona, the Urban Sciences Lab and the Valldaura Self-sufficient Labs, each carrying out their own educational programme in a specific field.

For the 2022-23 Academic Year’s Scholarship Competition, each educational programme invites the student to submit a project that gives an answer to some of the current global challenges: Climate Crisis, Data Management etc. To see all the detailed information about each programme’s requirements, click here

The IAAC’s Scholarships Programme gives three applicants the possibility to win any of the three partial scholarships covering 50%, 30% or 20% of the tuition fee of the first year of any educational programme.

The deadline for submitting projects is 25th February 2022 and, in the following weeks, the scholarships winners will be announced. To apply to this Scholarship Competition, click the following link.
