Live the Festes de La Mercè 2024 from September 20 to 24
The Festes de La Mercè return from September 20 to 24 with activities and concerts that will flood the entire city with popular culture, music, and art. The traditional festival of the city of Barcelona will feature music stages and artistic spaces across different neighborhoods, including Parc de l’Estació del Nord, the epicenter of La Mercè’s, Arts de carre (Street Arts). You can check the full program at the following link.
Barcelona’s Festa Major will conclude on Monday, September 24, with the iconic piromusical at Plaça Espanya, which this year has been designed by the Sónar team to commemorate their 30th anniversary.
The official poster for the Festes de La Mercè 2024, created by the production company CANADA, is based on an audiovisual piece from which different versions of the graphic work have been extracted. It captures the essence of the festival through the eyes of a child. Even for those who don’t go out to party or don’t even know what La Mercè is, the city offers a place for everyone to come together with music, dance, and performances.
