Design, architecture and production studios of Poblenou Open Night

We are happy to communicate that Poblenou Open Night is coming on the 26th of November. For this eight edition, Poblenou Urban District is counting on the participation of more than 50 partners. An amazing opportunity to get to know the Creative District of Barcelona and take part in activities organized by different locals and centers. Among them, you can find design, architecture and production studios that will organize special activities for the occasion. Following you can find their programming for their special day: 

Guided visits and concert in Medio Design

Design and digital fabrication studio Medio Design opens the doors of its workshop to showcase their latest projects, experimental pieces, furniture, objects, products, etc. with guided visits. Moreover, they will offer in exclusivity for the Open Night a concert from band Evidence Trío, which will interpret their repertoire of Modern Jazz, Funk, Latin Jazz and Fusion. 

Medio Design is an architectonic studio and a pioneer in digital fabrication in the areas of architecture and design. It was founded in 2002 by architects Juan Pablo Quintero and María Teresa León. From the beginning, their passion for innovation, design and simplicity led them to combine craftsmanship with digital fabrication as production method for objects and spaces filled with personality.

Exposition and open doors in Palo Alto

In foundation Palo Alto you will find three exhibitions in relation to sculpture, light art and photography. Also, you’ll get to see the spaces (that are usually closed to the public) and in one of them you’ll see various modernist art of the factory. Some of the activities require previous booking. Link

Exhibition and selling at Estudi Josep Ruà

Josep Rua opens the doors of its interiorism studio to showcase its work. Furniture and own design objects created for his projects. Moreover, some ceramic pieces by Alessia Schoor (Loulou Ceramic), Loulou x Agustin Santoyo, Mari Masot and Palmira Ceramic produced in the back room of the studio, will be exhibited. Exhibition and selling.

The Estudi Josep Ruà consists of a multidisciplinary young team responsible for the design, implementation and execution of architectural, interiorism and furniture projects. Each project is designed with a special focus on diverse scales, from the smallest details to a more general vision.

Party Warrior, solidarity day in Roc35

Roc35 is a multifunctional gastronomical and cultural space that stands out with its exterior and interior design. More than just a gastronomical space, it is perfect for culinary events or private dinners. 

On the 26th of November, the gastronomical space will open its doors to celebrate the “Party Warriors”. A solidarity day that will have various cooking activities and workshops (with limited capacity). All accompanied with food, drinks and music in order to enjoy this very special night. For the occasion, a DJ will be playing the best music and a kitchen of show cooking will make the show.

All the staff of the event will be composed of volunteers from Health Warriors, and all benefits from the food sale and the activities will go directly to non-profit association Health Warriors. We’re waiting for you!

Light Art: Interludis, from Maurici Ginés in Artec Studio

Artec Studio opens the doors of its new space in Palo Alto and invites us to enjoy Light Art: Interludis, from Maurici Ginés. An exhibition in which you’ll get to contemplate the chromatic game that the light interferences generate, surrounded by its own light.
