LCI Educationhas inaugurated its new building in the 22@ district, in Poblenou. It serves as its European hub, reinforcing Barcelona’s position as an internationally recognized center of innovation and creativity, as well as the institution’s commitment to global, high-quality education.
At the ceremony, Claude Marchand, CEO of LCI Education, highlighted: “We are confident that Barcelona will continue to grow as a global reference in design, fashion, creativity, and innovation. The inauguration of LCI Education’s European hub aims to contribute to this development and will allow us to continue attracting talent from all over the world.”
The campus, covering 11,000 square meters, includes classrooms, workshops, and specialized FabLabs equipped with cutting-edge technology. It is designed to accommodate up to 3,000 students—three times the capacity of its previous location—and it is expected that international students will generate a return of 41 million euros for the city. The building has obtained the BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology) certificate for its eco-friendly design. Notable features include the use of photovoltaic energy, greywater recycling, a system to collect rainwater for irrigating green areas, and a green roof that provides thermal insulation.
The school offers degree programs, master’s degrees, postgraduate courses, and continuing education programs related to Art, Design, Communication, Fashion, Video Games, Animation, VFX, and Photography.
