The title of the exhibition refers to the three lines of research that have guided Marc Larré’s work in recent years.
The first is the disconnection of the sculptural object from its historical associations with power.
The second is a critique of the privileged status of visuality in the West, and how it has excluded and subordinated other ways of doing and being.
The third is the link between art and the possibility (or impossibility) of having an authentic experience.
The works on display continue to explore these themes, as does the series of five pieces that won the Antoni Vila Casas Sculpture Prize 2024.
Opening: Monday, September 22 at 7:00 p.m., at the Museu Can Framis .
In addition, on Thursday, October 2 at 6:00 p.m., the Museu Can Framis has organized a guided tour of the exhibition led by the artist, Marc Larré.
