The Universities and Training Centers of Poblenou Urban District open their doors during Poblenou Open Night and offer talks, workshops, exhibitions, short film screenings and many other activities.
During Open Night at the Granada Building you will find:
– Exhibition “10 Years of Stop Motion at BAU”
These last days of the exhibition, originally located in the Pujades Building since 14 November, will move to the HAUS gallery space for this special night. Visitors will be able to see characters, sets and original elements from a selection of 30 short films created over the last decade since the master’s program began.
– Exhibition “Trazo Continuo”
Featuring textile works by Indigenous creators from Chile, with a special focus on artist Osvaldo Guineo, who intertwines ancestral techniques with contemporary experimentation.
– Screening of the collective showcase “Putting AI on Pause”
On the first floor, you can see the results of the workshop led by the Estampa Collective and curated by Federica Matelli within the collaboration between BAU and the Panoràmic Festival.
– Art installation “no_res: the reverberation of the fyp” by Marta Pou, Ana Soriano and Alex Sánchez
This master’s final project uses noise and image overproduction to rethink and reverse their usual meaning.
Live music by U R – L will accompany the evening.
A night dedicated to film, animation and digital arts. FX Barcelona Film School invites the public to discover its campus and enjoy workshops, exhibitions and interactive experiences.
There will be a Concept Art workshop and exhibition, a character design demonstration, an exhibition of students’ visual projects, and a virtual reality experience.
They will also open their terrace with cocktails, vermouth, barbecue and live music.
Performance by the musical group Last Night Duet.
Exhibition of student work and screening of the most outstanding animated shorts created since the school opened in 2011.

Craft Your Plastic! Workshop

Led by Petra Garajová, Materials and Sustainability coordinator at LCI. Learn how creativity and science merge to create bioplastics from everyday ingredients. A hands-on workshop introducing biofabrication and the sustainable future of materials. Limited places!
Screening of animated short films
6:00–9:00 PM | Espai Àgora
Enjoy nine short films created by recent graduates of the Animation Degree. The shorts will be screened on loop throughout the event.
