The short films Matcha and The Scraps, developed by the Class of 2025 students from the 2D and 3D Animation specialization at L’Idem, have been selected to be part of the official section of Animac Lleida 2026.
Both projects will be screened in the TALENT.CAT category, a section that brings together outstanding productions from film and animation schools in Catalonia and the Valencian Community, highlighting emerging talent from the region.
Their selection at Animac Lleida, the International Animation Film Festival of Catalonia, consolidates the trajectory of these works and acknowledges the quality and potential of the new animation talent trained in the district. This achievement offers 2D and 3D Animation students the opportunity to see their projects screened at official festivals, while also helping to promote new voices in the audiovisual landscape trained within the Creative District.
