For the first time, a graduating class of Fine Arts from BAU is presenting its closing ceremony in the form of a collective exhibition. Under the title Obrir camí (Clearing the Way), this event marks the transition from the academic world to the professional sphere. This generation of emerging artists is opening its doors to the public with an exhibition that brings together their final degree projects—pieces that reflect personal processes, contemporary concerns, and fresh perspectives on artistic creation.
The title of the exhibition directly references the very first time a class will graduate from the Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts at BAU. This cohort began their academic journey in the 2012 academic year, setting a precedent for the generations to come. The event thus becomes a meeting point for creators and spectators to discover the talent of a new wave of artists who are beginning to define their place within the current art scene.
Additionally, attendees will be able to obtain an exclusive print publication featuring a sample of the artistic practice of each recent graduate.
Opening: Friday, June 19th, starting at 18:00 (6:00 PM).
Closing: The exhibition will remain open to the general public until 20:00 (8:00 PM) on the same day.
